    A one piece tag formed from a resilient plastics material comprises a mounting member (12) and a pair of panels (10, 11) attached thereto. The mounting member (12) has a pair of limb portions (12a) coupled together by an intermediate portion (13). A panel (10, 11) extends from the end of each limb portion (12a). Coupling means (14) is provided adjacent the free end of one panel and an applicator tool can engage the tag via the coupling means. The panel is thus able to be forced through an object, such as the ear of an animal, by the applicator so that the intermediate portion (13) resides within the opening formed in the object and a panel lies either side of the opening.

    The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to tags for labeling animals.
    The purpose of the invention is to improve the usability of the tag.
    FIG. 1 shows a tag, side view; in fig. 2 is a view A of FIG. one; in fig. 3 is a view B in FIG. one; in fig. 4 - tag, top view; in fig. 5 - tag with beveled edges; in fig. 6 - the same, side view.
    The tag contains elongated lamellar pendants 1 and 2 interconnected by an earring 3. The corners of the suspensions 1 and 2 are rounded, and the opening 4 is made in the suspension 2. Part 5 and 6 of the edges of the suspensions 1 and 2 are adjacent to their free edges and are beveled. Hole 4 in suspension 2 is made in a place limited by parts of 5 and 6 edges. Earring 3 may have a round or elliptical shape. The middle part of the earring 3 is in the form of an inverted V or U, the distance between the end parts of which should be equal to the thickness of the ear of the animal. On the edge of each pendant facing the ear, there are protrusions in the form of shoulders 7 located on both sides of the mating point with its earring 3. The protrusions can be made so as to stand out and in to the relatively flat surfaces of pendants 1 and 2. The earring and pendants are made in the form of one piece from the material excluding the suspension breaking.
    To use the tag, it is attached, for example, to the ear of an animal as follows.
    Attaching the tag is carried out with a special tool. This tool is a tongs with a handle and a lever that actuates to move the piercing part. When a tag is placed on the ear of an animal, one of the lamellar hangers 1 or 2 is connected to the piercing part of the tool by means of the hole 4. The protrusion on the piercing part enters this hole, which is moved until it touches the animal’s ear, which is supported by parts go through the ear and, consequently, pass the attached pendant 2 until the earring 3 enters the hole made in the animal's ear. If the pendant has a flat, narrow configuration, the hole that should be made in the animal's ear can have minimum dimensions, slightly larger than the cross section of the earring 3.     around the piercing part during the installation of the tag and therefore a small hole is formed in the ear. If required, a special groove can be made in the special tool to ensure deformation of the suspension during its attachment.     A tag with a configuration shown on graphic materials can be used for marking small-sized markings, for marking with colors when marking such animals as sheep, or for marking any items. The tag can be written
